The Journal of Geosciences Research (JGSR) is a peer-reviewed, biannual (January and July) flagship scholarly journal of the Gondwana Geological Society (GGS), Nagpur. The JGSR has ISSN number confirmed by International ISSN Center (https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/2455-1953).

Scope: The JGSR publishes high-quality articles of geoscientific research and review covering the geology, geophysics, petrology, geochemistry, paleontology – micropaleontology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, limnogeology, limnology, quaternary geology, structural geology, mineralogy, environmental geology, economic geology, petroleum geology, hydrogeology, remote sensing-GIS, planetary geology, Soil Sciences, geo-archaeology and any other allied fields of geosciences. The JGSR also encourages the publication of scholarly invited state of art review articles covering the significant developments on any of the topics mentioned above to provide link between various scientific communities of wide range of disciplines at national and international levels.

The JGSR has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India, New Delhi (refer UGC-CARE list).
